The Italian market is seeing vigorous promotional activities aimed at the tourism industry. During a workshop in Turin, we presented our offer focused on cities, encompassing different kinds of tourism: cultural, active and natural, all in the vicinity of major Polish cities. We are putting particular emphasis on the areas to which new flights from Turin are being developed.

The International Office of the Polish Tourism Organisation took part in a workshop in Turin attended by around 80 representatives of travel agencies from Piedmont. During the event, which had the form of B2B table talks, our tourist offer was promoted. The pitch was mostly focused on urban and cultural tourism which enjoy the greatest popularity among Italian customers. We also placed great emphasis on active and natural tourism in regions close to the most important cities in Poland. The event was an opportunity to build relationships and promote the already mentioned products. Furnel Travel was POT’s partner during the workshops.

A comprehensive presentation of the Polish tourist offer was also held in the capital of Piedmont, with the region’s most important selected tour operators in mind. It concerned destinations which already have or soon will get new air connections with Turin. In particular, Kraków, Warsaw and Wrocław were promoted, together with the attractions of the related regions and the options for combining these routes to destinations such as Łódź, Poznań, Toruń, Gdańsk and the region of Pomorze.

The promotion and extension or introduction of Poland in the portfolios of these tour operators is a guarantee of the perfect presence of the product on the Italian market. During the meeting, the tour operators were very interested both in the fly&drive options and in extending the offer to include new cities, such as Łódź, Wrocław and Poznań.
