5th Krynica Bike Rally under POT’s patronage

Arranged by Krynica Tourism Organisation, 5th Krynica Bike Rally from Krynica Morska to Krynica-Zdrój starts today under the patronage of President of Polish Tourism Organisation.

Arranged by Krynica Tourism Organisation under the patronage of President of Polish Tourism Organisation (Polska Organizacja Turystyczna – POT), the already fifth edition of Krynica Bike Rally will take place on 28 May-7 June. This year’s route covers close to 1,200 km and runs along the Baltic Sea coastline and then along the Odra to Wrocław, Tarnów and, finally, all the way to Krynica Zdrój. On their way the participants will pass through, i.a. Gdynia, Łeba, Jarosławiec, Mrzeżyno, Wapnica, Gryfino, Kostrzyn, Szklarka, Lasowice, Wrocław and Tarnów.

The goal of the rally is to promote bicycle tourism, active leisure and recreation, and to encourage visiting noteworthy historical and tourist must-sees located along the route, with special emphasis on Krynica Morska and Krynica Zdrój. The concept of cooperation between the two cities and their joint promotion was born five years ago, with the collaboration growing more intense year on year.

The daily efforts of contestants will be covered by, i.a. online platforms and social media profiles of participants, who will post photos from the toured destinations and tourist attractions, share their experiences and explore the flavours of regional cuisine available in each of the visited voivodeships.
