On 18 August 2010, on the border of Gdańsk and Sopot new, multifunction, sports – entertainment hall Ergo Arena was opened. Hall can accommodate more than 11,000 people – using only seats and 15,000 people – using the seats and standing. In addition to leading function, hall is suitable for organisation of congresses, symposia, trade fairs and exhibitions. For business is designed 6322 seats (including the arrangement of the arena hall) and conference rooms on four floor with the possibility of different arrangements, the division of movable walls, or combine into larger spaces, with the use of the foyer area. Moreover, on each floor are catering units, each with its own facilities with 1422 consumer places in: pubs, clubs, bars, lodges and restaurants. Ergo Arena also offers VIP rooms for rent.
