The goal of the meeting was to discuss cooperation between the two countries in promoting Poland as a destination for foreign tourists. The conversations involved a presentation of the company’s policy, projects, promotional opportunities and achievements so far. The Trip.com Group is the world’s leading tourist platform offering a comprehensive package of travel products and services, including accommodation reservations, transport tickets and package tours. It is the owner of Ctrip, Qunar, Travix, Makemytrup, Trip.com and Skyscanner. The first two are the most popular booking platforms in China, with 400 million users.

What drew the attention of James Liang and Amanda Wang was the diversity of Poland as well as the wealth of our nature and cities, which are increasingly closer to the Chinese tourist. In their opinion, encouraging Asian visitors to travel to our country can have a very positive impact on tourism.

They were very enthusiastic about the idea of promotion based on the person and music of Fryderyk Chopin, especially in the context of the International Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw in the final of which participated 22 Chinese pianists. During their stay they also learned about the tourist offer of the two largest Polish cities, Warsaw and Kraków.
