The FITUR International Tourism Fair in the Spanish capital was held on 22-26 January. The 12 exhibitors representing Poland hailed from all parts of the country and have been consistently promoting it in Spanish-speaking markets for many years now. The list of this year’s exhibitors at the Polish national stand included, i.a. delegates of Warsaw, Kraków, the Małopolskie voivodeship, as well as Gdańsk, in 2019 distinguished by the prestigious Princess of Asturias Award.

Representatives of the Polish travel industry, i.a. Furnel Travel, Mazurkas Travel, Poland Tour and Vengo DMC, were also present. In addition, the stand arranged by Polish Tourism Organisation (Polska Organizacja Turystyczna – POT) offered an opportunity to talk with team members of companies only entering the Spanish-speaking market, such as Wygoda Travel, Poland Point Incoming and Luka Travel Guide. The flag carrier of Poland, LOT Polish Airlines, introduced FITUR attendants to its offer, with particular emphasis on everyday flights from Poland to Madrid and Barcelona.

All visitors will certainly remember the numerous highlights available at Polish Tourism Organisation’s stand. Mention is definitely due to a chocolate show prepared by the highly prestigious Wierzynek Restaurant, Poland’s oldest establishment of this kind.
