China recognizes Poland as one of top destinations for 2019 summer holidays

China Travel Agency presented the New Holiday Destination of the Year 2018 title to Poland. Our country was the only representative of Europe to receive a statuette in this category.

Poland was distinguished as the New Holiday Destination of the Year 2018 in the latest annual awards gala ceremony organized by the renowned China Travel Agent magazine.  

“We are very glad to receive the latest award from the Chinese market. It confirms that tourists hailing from the Middle Kingdom are increasingly interested in our country. This trend can also be seen in statistical data. Importantly, the growth trend continues. The number of Chinese tourists travelling to Poland in the first half of 2018 grew by more than 20%”, says President of POT Robert Andrzejczyk.

China Travel Agent is a trade press title covering current events and breaking news from the world of tourism. It publishes interviews with experts on tourism and information about destinations and representatives of the tourism industry. In addition, it hosts travel conferences of great interest for the local tourism sector.

Earlier Poland received, i.a. the prestigious National Tourism Award in the category of “Most popular travel destinations of 2017” presented by National Tourism Media Ltd., publisher of National Tourism, the number one B2B magazine of Chinese tourism industry.
