Poland Convention Bureau Polish Tourism Organisation is one of the founding membes of Strategic Alliance of the National Convention Bureaux of Europe (www.convention-europe.com)
The purpose of the Alliance is to boost partnership between convention bureaux throughout Europe in order to maintain and strengthen its long-term standing as the world’s number one setting of association meetings. Among the objectives agreed upon by Alliance’s members mention is due to the promotion and support of knowledge sharing among members, simplifying and strengthening the approach to key markets, and comprehensive market research via joint activities.
Poland Convention Bureau PTO, as its founding member, participate in all research projects and meetings of the Alliance which follows the objective of reinforcing cooperation between European countries. By being involved in actions aimed at working out joint standards of the European industry, we emphasise Poland’s position as an attractive region for meetings and business events in the international arena.
The list of Alliance members includes: Austria (Vienna), Belgium (Flanders), Catalonia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Luksemburg, Monaco, Montenegro, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Scotland, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.
Delegates of National Convention Bureaux meet twice a year.
