Fam Trip in Gdańsk and Region

On the first day, upon arrival in Pomerania and after being introduced to one another, the visitors were taken on an interactive tour over the most attractive spots of Gdańsk. On the second day, a RIB motor boat trip was organised. It was combined with a visit to the marine seal aquarium in Hel, where all visitors received a seal mascot as a souvenir from their stay in Poland. The purchase of this souvenir supports the restitution and protection of the Baltic mammals.

As part of their tour equipment, the visitors got windproof jackets with the PCB logo. In the afternoon, they could see the exhibition entitled “The Way to Freedom,” relating to the famous Polish socio-political movement of “Solidarity.” Afterwards, they were invited to a night sightseeing tour of the Teutonic Castle in Malbork, where they could also participate in the cooking workshops conducted by Bogdan Gałązka, a prominent chef from Malbork.

Another fascinating day began with amber manufacturing workshops. These were followed by a yacht cruise from Gdańsk to Sopot, during which the visitors proved to be real sea wolves, despite strong wind and 6-7 degrees in Beaufort scale.

The event also featured a presentation during which GCB POT familiarised the visitors with a wide range of meeting and incentive opportunities offered by Gdańsk and the Region. After two eventful days, the visitors could take some rest and relax in the Sopot beauty & wellness centre.

In spite of the changing weather conditions, we managed to cover the whole event programme, which was appreciated by all participants. There were presentations of the conference and incentive package, as well as a great deal of fun!
