World transplant congress for the first time in Poland
The congress took place on the area of the University of Wrocław, Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics and the organiser is Subdepartment of Replantation of Limbs, St Hedwig Hospital in Trzebnica.
– Polish Transplantation Society exists for over 40 years and there has never been a symposium on such a scale in our country yet – said professor Jerzy Jabłecki, president of the Subdepartment of Replantation of Limbs, St Hedwig Hospital in Trzebnica.
– Today, scientific publications are available on the spot, but nothing can replace direct contact and meetings with people breaking new grounds in transplantology – addend professor Jabłecki from the St Hedwig Hospital in Trzebnica, one of the most famous European hand transplantation centres.
