"I like Poland" in China

The presentations were supported by the presence of the deputy president of POT, Ms Elżbieta Wąsowicz-Zaborek, and the representatives of Polish diplomatic posts in China, which gave the meetings the prestige they deserve.
The meetings were a great opportunity to present both the offer of Poland and the offer of the Polish partners, yet their success depends on further actions, which – due to the specific nature of the Chinese market – will mostly comprise in correspondence exchange and subsequent meetings, which may lead to introduction of Poland to the new catalogues of Chinese travel agents in the future.
The number of Chinese representatives of the tourism industry, the convention industry and journalists that participated in the 3 presentations reached about 150 people.
Another series of presentations is now taking place in Osaka, Nagoya and Tokyo, for about 100 invited guests. The Polish participants of the presentations include: Maestro Meetings&Incentives, Teja Tur and Holiday Travel, and RTO and LTO – representatives of Furnel Travel International, Poland Tour, Płock Local Tourism Organisation, Profi-Tour and Melody Tours.
The roadshow formula includes both the presentations of PCB POT and partners as well as devoting time to workshops and individual business contacts. The programme of each presentation includes a quiz about Poland, with the prizes in the form of small gifts and a weekend stays in Poland, offered by the Polish partners.
The presentations are organized by the Polish Tourist Information Centre in Japan and Home Offices selected in a tender procedure. The “I like Poland” project is co-financed from the European Union Funds under Action 6.3 IOIE 2007-2013.
