In 2025, the Stochastic Processes and their Applications (SPA) conference will be held, whose main content area is mathematical statistics and probability. Past conferences have been held in Europe, as well as in America or Asia. The upcoming event is scheduled to take place in Lisbon in 2023.

 

The application was submitted jointly with the professors representing Wrocław University of Science and Technology and University of Wrocław, and it is in the spaces of these two universities that the event will be realized.

On the other hand, in 2024 Wrocław will welcome participants of The European Multicolloquium of Parasitology (EMOP) conference, which is realized every 4 years as an official event of the European Federation of Parasitologists. The previous edition was held in Serbia, where Wrocław was announced as the official destination for the next edition. The bid was submitted in cooperation with the representative of the University of Wrocław, who is also a member of the Wrocław Congress Ambassadors Club. The planned venue for the event is the Centennial Hall complex.

Despite the unfavorable pandemic period around the world for the last 2 years, the number of planned events is increasing, and Wrocław as a conference and business city, as well as a tourist destination, invariably encourages Organizers to realize events in the capital of Lower Silesia.
