Success of Warsaw Kick-Off 2021

The virtual fam trip in Warsaw attracted over 160 guests from mainly Europe, but also Mexico and the USA. The event was organized as a streaming on an online platform for international meeting planners.


Warsaw Kick-Off 2021 is an initiative of Warsaw Convention Bureau, Mazurkas DMC Poland (certified by PTO PCB) and and Brill AV Media. On March 2nd, 2021, in the studio of Brill AV Media, organizers have presented several places and attractions across the city – recent openings and local hot spots. Four members of Warsaw Tourism Organisation have been invited to present themselves in the project Elektrownia Powiśle, Polish Vodka Museum, Belvedere Restaurant, Life Under Communism Museum. An additional partner presented was the newly-opened hotel and conference complex and the first hotel of this brand in Poland – Crowne Warsaw Plaza – The Hub.

The main goal of all partners has been to facilitate the interest of meeting planners in Warsaw and to raise awareness of the city as an attractive and professional destination.

- This project shows that through the synergy of actions of our members we can achieve many positive effects. Our local MICE industry, despite current situation, remains creative and proactive. We are very happy with the number of people that watched the streaming, it is a testament to the interest of International meeting planners in our city and its offer. Warsaw gains much from the fact of being able to show off both new investments and unique, historic sites – stated Marek Skowerski, Senior Manager – Corporate Meetings & Events at Warsaw Convention Bureau
