Promotion of Poland in Brussels Recognised in a Prestigious International Competition

The Brussels miniature park Mini-Europe has been nominated for the prestigious Visit Brussels Award in the International Brussels Icon Awards category, thanks to the expansion of its Polish section with miniatures of Warsaw landmarks.

The iconic Mini-Europe park is Brussels’ second most important tourist attraction, attracting over 400,000 visitors each year. They can admire miniature versions of Europe’s most famous landmarks. The park features around 350 buildings from 80 cities. Since March 2025, the collection has been expanded with two new miniatures from Poland: the Palace on the Isle and the Frédéric Chopin Monument, both located in Warsaw’s Royal Łazienki Park. These new Polish miniatures will remain a permanent part of the park.

The project to expand the Polish exhibition in Mini-Europe was carried out by the International Office of the Polish Tourism Organisation in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Poland. It was one of the most important projects in the history of that International Office. Its promotional reach was enormous, as evidenced by the presence of the Mayor of Brussels (one of Belgium’s most important politicians) at the official inauguration of the miniatures, as well as the huge number of publications about the event in both Polish and Belgian media.

In the first stage of the Visit Brussels Award competition, public votes will decide which attractions advance to the second stage, which will be judged by a jury.
