Project SCHEDULE starts in Łódź

Project SCHEDULE consists of three parts: 24HOURS competition in Lodz (Poland), STUDY VISIT to Lillehammer (Norway) and RESEARCH on competitions as a method of teaching in tourism higher education.

The main idea of the 24HOURS competition is to solve the particular problem of the development of the tourism economy in the city of Lodz. Students of universities and high schools all over the world, open-minded people representing all scientific disciplines are invited to join the competition.

We will meet together in Lodz in Poland on Friday 14th November and take 24 hours to find a solution for a problem of the tourism economy in the city. General description of the problem will be announced soon. Detailed description of the task will be presented during very first minutes of the 24HOURS competition.

 

Project is implemented by the Institute of Urban Geography and Tourism Studies at University of Lodz (Poland). Project is supported by a grant from Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through the EEA Grants and Norway Grants an co-financed by the Polish funds.

 

Poland Convention Bureau Polish Tourists Organisation is a partner of this event. The Head of PCB POT, Krzysztof Celuch will make a presentation about meetings industry in Poland.
