Poland Rocks! Let`s Talk Business Song

During the IMEX trade show in Frankfurt, at the Polish national stand, we sang a specially created song for this occasion. Brian Allan and Basia Giewont were our musical ambassadors in Germany, and with their performances, they generated a lot of positive emotions among the guests and exhibitors at Messe Frankfurt. The Musical Happy Hour attracted many trade fair participants who joined in the collective singing.

Why do Poles sing in English at IMEX?

We continue with the Musical Mornings, which have been hugely successful in previous years at IMEX in Frankfurt. Every morning from 9:00 to 10:00 in the Galleria of Messe Frankfurt (between Hall 8 and 9), Basia Giewont and her band greet the trade fair participants with music. This year, the overarching theme of the Frankfurt trade show was  Human Nature and we wanted to contribute to this. Music is a universal language that transcends barriers and connects people on an emotional level. It has the power to evoke a wide range of emotions, express individual and collective experiences, and foster a sense of community. Research has shown that 65% of mood changes are influenced by sounds.

Who is Basia Giewont?

You may have already met Basia at previous Musical Mornings in Frankfurt. Basia truly identifies with her roots (Malopolska Region and the Polish Mountains), including musically. Thanks to her immense charisma and education, she possesses an extraordinary range of possibilities. She is no stranger to wild foreign rhythms, opera, hits, jazz ballads, or nostalgic and demanding poetic compositions. Her expressive power and authenticity make you fall in love with her at first sight. Over the years, she has developed her musical career by collaborating with outstanding musicians such as Adam Sztaba, Grzegorz Turnau, Andrzej Zarycki, Andrzej Poniedzielski, the Cechomor band, Wojciech Karolak, Stan Breckenridge, and the Jazz Band Ball Orchestra. Basia made herself known by participating in one of the early editions of The Voice of Poland and receiving recognition in the Polish Eurovision selection. During the 59th National Festival of Polish Song in Opole, she received an award from Program 3 of Polish Radio for her single. Basia Giewont on Instagram.

Who is Brian Allan?

Brian Allan is a renowned Scottish musician, performer, and event professional known in Poland and abroad. In 2004, Allan moved to Poland, where he founded the band "Why Not?". Several songs recorded by the musicians made it onto the charts of leading Polish radio stations, including "I Still Love You" and "On Christmas Day," which was recorded with Polish stars. This song is featured on the annual Christmas album of the EMI label. Allan is also the author of the song "Loving You," written for Edyta Górniak. His performances at the ICCA Congress in Krakow were among the most emotional moments during the event.
