Poland Convention Bureau intensifies online presence

During the COVID-19 pandemic, digital contact channels have become the very basis of our daily communication. In consequence, we joined forces with POT’s International Offices to intensify online promotion aimed at meetings industry representatives and intended to sustain the demand for Poland and build trust among meeting & event planners.

Polish Tourism Organisation and its Poland Convention Bureau unit continue efforts inspired by the new reality. Already back in mid-2020, Poland Online Site Inspection and Hygienically Safe Venue, two key projects supporting the meetings industry, have been launched thanks to cooperation with municipal and regional convention bureaux. In September the latter was expanded by the Safe MICE venue self-certification for conference and congress venues.

The eighth edition of Meetings Week Poland was of great importance for the Polish meetings industry. Assuming a hybrid character, the event was simultaneously held in five cities across Poland and the space of a virtual conference centre. Its organisers demonstrated that by following all norms and safety regulations we are able to realise the #ZnowuSięSpotykamy (WeMeetAgain) idea.  

Trade media regularly receive information about PCB POT’s undertakings and key activities. Materials dedicated to Poland have recently been published on numerous foreign portals and social media.

Below you will find examples of online campaigns conducted in trade media in Belgium (HeadQuarters Magazine, Travel360°) and the Netherlands (M!CE & Business Travel), as well as articles published in German (CIM Magazine), British (CMW) and Slovenian media (Kongres Magazine). The list will be updated to reflect the latest activities.

Communication in the domestic market is just as important as its international counterpart. To encourage the Polish industry to take advantage of available support programmes, in recent months Poland Convention Bureau POT partnered up with leading trade media, such as THINK MICE, Meeting Planner, MICE Poland and Event Katalog.

Online meetings attended by representatives of Polish Tourism Organisation offer concurrent support for the campaigns and provide an opportunity to showcase the latest projects.  

The online promotional undertakings successfully generated, i.a. 2,600 unique views of the Poland Online Site Inspection catalogue website.
