New safety measures

On 17 October (Saturday) new safety-related restrictions were introduced in both red and yellow zones, affecting event planning and food service industry. 152 counties, constituting half of Poland, are now classified as red zones. The list mostly consists of densely populated districts, cities and large urban centres.

Both in yellow and red zones, swimming pools, health clubs and gyms can operate in hotels but are available only for guests staying at least one night in a given venue. On the other hand, disco clubs, nightclubs and venues with dancing areas will be banned. Hotel restaurants and bars are open and can serve guests on-site, following the same rules as the entire food service industry.
