Gdańsk International Fair (Międzynarodowe Targi Gdańskie SA) joined the group of organisers recommended by Poland Convention Bureau of Polish Tourism Organisation. It is now a certified Professional Congress Organiser for the period of 2020-2021.

Gdańsk International Fair is a well-recognised economic and trade fair brand boasting 30 years of tradition. The company specializes in staging events of local, nationwide and international scope: trade shows, exhibitions, congresses, conferences, events, fairs and open-air gatherings. The seat of Międzynarodowe Targi Gdańskie SA, the AMBEREXPO Exhibition and Convention Centre in Gdańsk-Letnica is a modern, multi-functional and perfectly equipped venue.

The AMBEREXPO complex is composed of three integrated exhibition halls with total floor space of 12,000 m2, a convention and conference centre with 4 rooms for 1,058 participants and a mobile space arrangement option, complete with a reception area and VIP zone, a press centre, a restaurant, office facilities (6,000 m2), a car park for 430 vehicles and an exhibition rail track.

The calendar of events staged by Międzynarodowe Targi Gdańskie involves specialized meetings highly appreciated by the industry, such as International Fair of Amber & Jewellery AMBERIF, International Amber Fair AMBERMART, International Railway Fair TRAKO, International Fair of Technology and Equipment for the Police and National Security Services EUROPOLTECH, Baltic Military Fair BALT MILITARY EXPO together with International Science and Technology Conference NATCON, as well as International Fair of Fish and Food Products POLFISH.

Furthermore, MTG organizes the Gdańsk-set Christmas Fair and the celebrated St. Dominic’s Fair, well-known both at home and abroad.

The recommendations awarded by President of Polish Tourism Organisation are aimed at companies specialising in the planning and organisation of events, which boast appropriate organisational experience, technical facilities and a well-trained team ensuring the full implementation of congress or incentive programmes.

The recommended companies can expect active promotion through the operations of Poland Convention Bureau of POT, i.a. through information in promo brochures and presentations for foreign organisers, its website (including the recently launched Poland Online Site Inspection tool for the meetings sector), as well as in social media. In addition, recommended organisers are invited to participate in undertakings held by POT, such as presentations, international trade fairs, fam trips, workshops and training sessions.
