More Wrocław Ambassadors acitivities in 2017

 

The calendar for 2017 is full of events organized and participated by members of the Polish Congress Ambassador’s Program. Meetings have been already planned by prof. Bogusława Dobek – Ostrowska (University of Wrocław), prof. Edward Chlebus (Wrocław University of Science and Technology) and prof. Kazimiera Wilk (Wrocław University of Science and Technology).  

 

The First edition ofISPEM Conference 2017(Intelligent Systems in Production Engineering and Maintenance) will be held between 28-29 September 2017. It is an opportunity for researchers, experts, practitioners and other interested participants to exchange experiences in intelligent systems and tools applications in production and maintenance.Professor Edward Chlebusis the chairman of the Conference that will take place at the Wrocław University of Science and Technology.

 

22ndAnnual Conference of Central European Political Science Associationis an event on a European scale, and its organizational committee is headed by prof.Bogusława Dobek - Ostrowskafrom the Institute of Political Science, University of Wrocław. The following broad and interdisciplinary range of topics on 14 - 15 September 2017 will be covered: CEECS towards European Union and its challenges, political trends in CEE, liberal democracy in CEE and the European Union, CEECs’ conceptions for energy security of the EU. The conference is organized by the Institute of Political Science, University of Wrocław in cooperation with the Central European Political Science Association.

 

Another interesting event in the calendar of our Ambassadors is the60thScientific Congress of the Polish Chemical Societyon 17 -21 September 2017, chaired byprof. Kazimiera Wilkfrom Wrocław University of Science and Technology, environmental coordinator of Lower Silesian Science Festival. The event brings together 800 to 1000 participants both from Poland and abroad and is organized by the most important research centers in Poland. The topics of the conference cover the latest advances in chemistry in 16 sections, plus three special sessions and a panel discussion on co-operation between science and industry. One of the speakers will be our Ambassador,prof. Wiesław Strękfrom Institute of Low Temperatures and Structure Research Polish Academy of Science (PAN) Wroclaw. The place of PTChem’s meeting (Polish Chemistry Association) will be the Faculty of Chemistry of Wrocław University of Science and  Technology, Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences as well as the Faculty of Chemistry of Wrocław University. The celebration will be even more unique and extraordinary because of the 150 anniversary of the birth of polish scientist Maria Curie-Skłodowska.

 

Wrocław is honored to have such Ambassadors and  appreciate their activities both in the national as well as in the international field as well as in presenting  a well developing city into open to new technologies.
