Magdalena Krucz appointed new President of the Polish Tourism Organisation

Magdalena Krucz was appointed to the position of President of the Polish Tourism Organisation on 2 December 2025 during a meeting of the Senate Committee on National Economy and Innovation. The nomination was presented to her by the Minister of Sport and Tourism, Jakub Rutnicki, and the Secretary of State in the Ministry of Sport and Tourism, Ireneusz Raś.

Magdalena Krucz has been connected with the tourism industry since the beginning of her professional career, which she started in a travel agency specialising in inbound tourism. She joined the Polish Tourism Organisation in 2004. Since then, she has been responsible, among other things, for implementing promotional campaigns, including projects such as “Poland – Partner Country of ITB Berlin 2011”, the campaign featuring leading Polish athletes “Poland. More than you think”, the programme to rebuild demand for Poland's tourist offer on foreign markets, Polish tourism and sports days during the EXPO Exhibition in Osaka, workshops for foreign travel agencies “Buy Poland”, and the “Tourism of the Future” congress, which took place at the end of September 2025 in Kołobrzeg.

She has also promoted Poland abroad by coordinating promotional activities of the International Offices of the PTO. Before assuming the role of PTO's President, she served as Director of the Planning and Development Department and was responsible for planning promotional activities in Poland and abroad. She is a graduate of the School of Economics in Warsaw in the field of Tourism Economics.
