Wiktoria Król-Cieciorowska has been elected as the new President of Convention Bureau-Wrocław, succeeding Agnieszka Szymerowska, who has held the position since 2019. The appointment was made at the recent meeting of the Council of the Foundation for the Promotion of Tourism, during which Szymerowska officially handed over her duties Wiktoria to Król-Cieciorowska.

Wiktoria Król-Cieciorowska is a graduate of the Wroclaw School of Banking and the University of Wroclaw, with specializations in Tourism and Recreation, and Communication Management, respectively. She has been associated with Convention Bureau-Wrocław since 2019 and has held various positions within the organisation, including promotion and database specialist, and MICE specialist. During her tenure, Król-Cieciorowska has played an integral role in implementing tasks and projects aimed at developing business tourism in Wrocław, and has been involved in the organization of several major events, including the 43rd European Congress of Cytology and ICON-S Annual Conference 2022. She has also worked as a city guide in Wrocław.

At the same time, Convention Bureau Wrocław says goodbye to the former President. The Convention Bureau-Wrocław team would like to thank Agnieszka Szymerowska, who has been associated with the Foundation since 2010, initially as a volunteer, then as a specialist and project coordinator, and from 2019 onwards as the President of the Foundation. During her many years of work at the Convention Bureau- Wrocław Tourism Promotion Foundation, she has been involved in the tourism promotion of Wrocław, both nationally and internationally, as well as in numerous organisational and logistical activities for important events for the development of the city. Among them, it is worth mentioning the Wrocław Global Forum 2010-2016, UEFA European Football Championship EURO 2012, European Capital of Culture 2016, The World Games 2017, Freedom Festival 2018, as well as many other international conferences and congresses of a scientific nature.

The Conferences and Congresses in Poland Association's Management Board (SKKP) has decided to hire a new Director for their office starting from February 1st, 2023. Agnieszka Szymerowska, the former President of Convention Bureau-Wrocław and the Wrocław Tourist Organization, has been selected for the position.
