More about AMECA

Ameca is  187 cm tall, with blue eyes and a bluish-gray complexion. She was born in Cornwall, at the headquarters of Engineered Arts Ltd, a company that creates humanoid robots. At Copernicus Science Centre Warsaw, she works as the curator of the exhibition "The Future is Today". She communicates using OpenAI Chat GPT and is waiting for anyone who wants to talk to her.

During a conversation with Ameca, you can discover her amazing abilities. The artificial intelligence language model GPT allows her to access the resources of the internet and generate virtually any type of content. A robot you can talk to freely is very impressive. And this is just the beginning. To make the illusion of humanity stronger, Ameca's lip movements are perfectly synchronized with the spoken words. Facial expressions also accompany the utterances, which is a novelty in the world of robots.

In making facial expressions, a human uses about 70 muscles. Ameca has 27 of them – they are actuators.
