As part of a project co-financed by European Union funding (promotion of health services under sub-measure 3.3.2 “Promotion of economy based on Polish brand products - Polish Economy Brand”), Polish Tourism Organisation (Polska Organizacja Turystyczna - POT) in partnership with the Ministry of Economic Development showcases the extensive offer of the Polish market of health services, also including medical facilities, rehabilitation facilities, as well as spas & wellness centres. This year’s edition of Arab Health attracted a particularly numerous representation of companies supplying healthcare technology. The largest group involved firms operating in the Śląskie voivodeship (Silesia).

On the first day of the exhibition Sheikh Abdulmohsin Abdulaziz Alhokair visited the Polish national stand, where he was particularly interested in Poland’s offer of natural resources. Notable guests on the second day included Robert Rostek, Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to United Arab Emirates, and Michał Bakuła, Head of the Foreign Trade Office in Dubai, who discussed, i.a. the involvement of Poland in the Expo Dubai 2020 international show.

Poland’s national stand attracted the attention of visitors thanks to its diverse programme. Among the available highlights, mention is due to workshops applying Polish natural resources, which offered an opportunity to participate in a therapeutic session inspired by Polish health resorts and a relaxation session in the world of quintessentially Polish sounds. Guests could also enjoy a tasting session of Polish tea and honey plus a virtual tour of Polish health resorts applying the VR technology.
