POT at Arab Health in Dubai

The participants of the Arab Health trade fair held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, included the Polish Tourism Organisation (POT). This was the world’s biggest trade event for medical-sector services and products to take place this year.

This year’s edition, held between 21 and 24 June, gathered over 1,300 exhibitors from more than 60 countries. Set up in 17 pavilions, their stands showcased the latest solutions and products related to medical services, medical technologies, IT in healthcare, as well as diagnostic and laboratory equipment.

This was the second time that the Polish Tourism Organisation had a stand set up as part of the Go to Brand project, presenting the offering of the Polish market for health-related services, including services offered by medical facilities, rehabilitation centres and spa & wellness facilities, chosen specifically with Arab markets in mind.

There has been a noticeably positive attitude towards Poland from local media and prospective partners interested in cooperation on the medical market. A major local medium published an article about rehabilitation options in Poland.

An extensive animation programme definitely helped draw attention to the stand. It included various workshops, e.g. bathing salts with added Polish oils, herbs and flowers, aromatherapy, therapeutic salt inhalation, tastings of Polish teas and honeys, workshops on making natural candles from beeswax, a relaxation session immersed in the world of Polish sounds, and non-invasive testing of skin hydration with a special measuring device. Attractive natural prizes awaited all active visitors, and detailed questions were answered by an industry expert present on the stand.
