The agreement was signed by President of Polish Tourism Organisation (Polska Organizacja Turystyczna - POT) Robert Andrzejczyk and President of Polonus Maciej Acedański. It acts as an introduction of joint, long-term activities intended to contribute to the development of passenger transport coach market and, consequently, to boost the domestic tourist traffic. The autumn edition of the POLAND SEE MORE - WEEKEND AT HALF PRICE initiative will be the first project on which the two partners will cooperate.

“I am delighted to enter strategic cooperation with another carrier. I am very satisfied with the results of cooperation with both PLL LOT and PKP Intercity. Together we are proving that Poland is an attractive tourist destination and keep working on increasing tourism numbers. The autumn edition of the POLAND SEE MORE - WEEKEND AT HALF PRICE action will be the first undertaking that our new promotional partner will be joining. I believe that this cooperation will inspire even more Poles to tour the country on the first weekend of October and take advantage of 50% discounts”, says President of POT Robert Andrzejczyk.

“Cooperation with POT is a perfect match for implementing Polonus’ new strategy that through consolidation and partnership activities raises the attractive character of our offer and encourages residents of Poland to travel by comfortable coaches. Immediately after launching the Polonus Partner network intended to integrate Polish carriers, the time has come for a new action aimed at promoting travelling across our beautiful country. We are proud of our contribution to the development of Polish tourism”, says President of Polonus Maciej Acedański.

The discussed cooperation will be based on promotion in print and image-centred materials, joint organization of meetings and events targeting the development and promotion of tourist products, as well as the implementation of promotional events staged at home and abroad. Both POT and Polonus will support the discussed actions through promotion on their websites and social media profiles.
