Journalists from Russia and Kazakhstan visited Poland

Russian and Kazakh journalists participated in two fam trips across Poland. The main objective of their visit was to become familiar with the extensive offer of city and cultural tourism available in our country.

The itinerary planned for the four Russian journalists encompassed, i.a. tours of select castles and palaces of the regions of Łódź and Opole, a stay in Łódź, the city of four cultures, and a brief tour of Wrocław. Their travel accounts will be published by voyagemagazine.ru and votpusk.ru websites, the Liza magazine, and broadcast on the Russian Romantika radio station. On the organizational side of things, Polish Tourism Organisation (Polska Organizacja Turystyczna - POT) received the support of the Regional Tourist Organisation of the Łódź Voivodeship, the Łódź Tourist Organisation, the Opole Regional Tourist Organisation and the Lower Silesian Tourist Organisation.

Six journalists and bloggers from Kazakhstan visited, i,a. the Manufaktura shopping mall, the Bobolice Castle and the recently opened Museum of Polish Vodka in Warsaw. In addition, guests from the East could experience the ambience of magical Kraków, enjoy a meeting with Fryderyk Chopin’s music in Żelazowa Wola and explore the offer of Hotel Bristol**** ART&Medical SPA in Busko Zdrój.

In addition to tourist highlights, the agenda of Kazakh journalists and bloggers also featured activities connected with broader economic cooperation between Poland and Kazakhstan, where our country enjoys a good reputation in the areas of, i.a. cosmetics manufacturing, aesthetic medicine and fruit processing, with special emphasis on apples. As a result, the Kazakhs paid a visit to the EUROSAD fruit-processing farm, the Della Cosmetics family company, as well as the Promedion Clinic of Plastic Surgery and Aesthetic Medicine.

The trip of the Kazakh group is a result of cooperation with Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Almaty and the LOT Polish Airlines, which funded participants’ flights on the Astana - Warsaw - Astana route. At a local level, arrangements involved the Łódź Tourist Organisation, the Municipality of Kraków, the Warsaw Tourist Office, the Municipality and Commune of Żarki, Hotel Bristol**** ART & Medical Spa in Busko Zdrój, as well as the Museum of Polish Vodka in Warsaw.

Both visits were given on-the-spot coverage in social media. The guests in question will also describe their travel impressions in the press and e-media titles they represent.
