Bloggers from the Netherlands discover the charms of Pomerania

In May, three Dutch bloggers visited the Pomeranian region at the invitation of the Polish Tourism Organisation. The trip was organised by the International Office in Amsterdam in cooperation with the Sopot Tourism Organisation, the Gdańsk Tourism Organisation and the Pomeranian Regional Tourism Organisation.

Dutch bloggers in Sopot

During their five-day stay, the bloggers explored Sopot and Gdańsk and discovered the Dutch heritage in the region. The main highlights of the visit were activity-based tourism, the Wellness and SPA offer, the Mennonite (former Dutch settlers) Trail in the region, the greatest attractions of Gdańsk, and tasting local dishes.

The Netherlands had the opportunity to take a trip on a yacht and on a houseboat, to ride the Pomeranian bicycle routes and visit the best SPA and Wellness facilities in Sopot. They also met with the representatives of the Sopot Tourism Organisation, who talked about the qualities of the city and its attractiveness to Dutch tourists.

It was the first visit of the bloggers to Pomerania. The region enchanted them with the coast’s beauty and the energy of the Tricity. The authors emphasised that a trip to Pomerania was an ideal combination of relaxation by the sea with opportunities for wellness, active and cultural tourism. They praised the level of service offered in the hotels and the variety of Polish cuisine. Already during the trip, they reported on the journey in a very enthusiastic way on their profiles on Instagram. In the coming weeks, the portals www.Travander.nl, www.InHetVliegtuig.nl, www.Wellnessspots.com and www.Travelaroundwithme.com will publish articles resulting from this trip.
