On 20 January 2012 Warsaw’s Pepsi Arena hosted the official presentation of the “MICE Poland Personality of the Year 2011” awards, granted to outstanding figures in the meetings industry in three categories. Just like every year, the MICE Poland Personality of the Year, which is one of this sector’s vital events in Poland, attracted professionals from the whole country.
The awards went to:
- Renata Razmuk, as 2011 Client of the Year; responsible for internal communications and events organisation in Renault Polska.
- Katarzyna Niezgoda as 2011 Venue Manager of the Year; Director of the Central Sales Office of Vienna International Hotelmanagement in Poland, Vienna International Hotels & Resorts.
- Wojciech Cłapiński as 2011 Organiser of the Year; Vice-President of the Board of El Padre.
Furthermore, it was the first time in the Gala’s history that the MPI Poland Club’s “Discovery of the Year” award was presented. The title winner was Davide Odella, Event Manager at Grupa Trip’s Warsaw branch. MPI recognised his creativity, open-mindedness, drive for development and extraordinary initiative, both on the Polish market and in the international associations MPI and ICCA.
During the event the guests could take part in numerous attractions such as two concerts – of a musical group and a saxophonist – as well as spectacular bartending and dancing shows.
We are looking forward to another, the fifth, edition of the Gala and more prestigious awards.
